Hello, thank you for taking time to visit my website.

I’m a gemmologist designer-maker (who knew, one could tag another profession onto designer-maker).

I create because I use the process of research, design and make as a form of therapy. To make is to productively overthink my worries.

Themes I come back to often are: science, impermanence, legacy, identity (said no artist ever … ), collecting/curating (because I have a hoarding problem).

I don’t take commissions because they cause huge amount of stress that I don’t want.

New work is produced on an extremely organic schedule - one that even I wish I had insight into. Currently, we’re experiencing somewhat of a drought. I’ve been having too good a time knitting with my cat sleeping next to me.
